Spectators: 6793 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zdeslav Antončić got the match started through his kick off. When Augustin Šipraga fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ugljan's protests and gave Augustin Šipraga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Bregana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svebor Martić to maneuver through the defense. Nikša Baričević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdeslav Antončić, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Zrinko Lacmanović stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augustin Šipraga's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Ladislav Jusić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zrinko Lacmanović read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. If Milivoj Andrejaš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislav Jusić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zrinko Lacmanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jurica Krešić's late challenge caught a Ugljan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jurica Krešić helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Bregana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurica Krešić to maneuver through the defense. Nikola Kovačev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zrinko Lacmanović having to make a save. After 41 played minutes Bregana got a freekick which was hit by Jurica Krešić. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ladislav Jusić to strike the kick off in the second half. Donat Novačić kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Matko Jendrić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ladislav Jusić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikša Baričević was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zdeslav Antončić showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. Ugljan's Nikša Baričević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeslav Antončić in the 64th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislav Jusić in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zrinko Lacmanović prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bregana getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Adolf Škaro hit a great ball. Nikola Kovačev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Bregana's zone, Nikola Kovačev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zrinko Lacmanović came out of the goal and Nikola Kovačev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zdeslav Antončić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Milivoj Andrejaš made a precise shot to the right of Nikša Baričević. Ugljan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 94th minute, Zdeslav Antončić fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nikša Baričević, passed just outside the right post. Bregana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
