Isak Jurić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Leon Fukač when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Mihovljan Val defense, Svebor Miljuš kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saša Ristov. The Mihovljan Val fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saša Ristov should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Svebor Miljuš to make the kick off.
