Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Fonseca in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Božidar Kedžo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Krsto Komadinić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinko Gromača during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vinko Gromača kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Duga Resa Hajduk got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Mengeš. Božidar Kedžo came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Duga Resa Hajduk's Krsto Komadinić. But to his dismay, Krsto Komadinić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Fonseca in the 34th minute of play forced Đurđenovac Jedinstvo's goalkeeper Božidar Kedžo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ognjen Beslać got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alexandre Sousa. In the 39th minute, Joaquim Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Duga Resa Hajduk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 42nd match minute, Đurđenovac Jedinstvo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Baković to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, D.J. Hård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duga Resa Hajduk's supporters crossed their fingers, but D.J. Hård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Duga Resa Hajduk were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Božidar Kedžo stood somewhat misplaced when Joaquim Fonseca came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 52 minute. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Krsto Komadinić sped through Đurđenovac Jedinstvo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Božidar Kedžo. After a rather tough play, Duga Resa Hajduk's Alexandre Sousa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Klement Vrhovski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darko Dugec went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-6 was the resulting score. Joaquim Fonsecas short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Božidar Kedžo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Joaquim Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Božidar Kedžo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Krsto Komadinić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krsto Komadinić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Božidar Kedžo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquim Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Joaquim Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klement Vrhovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darko Dugec, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Alexandre Sousa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Božidar Kedžo, 2-8. When the final whistle sounded Duga Resa Hajduk left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Đurđenovac Jedinstvo.
