Spectators: 8037 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 162) Višeslav Trošelj made the kick off and thus started the match. Arsen Bošnjak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davor Sabolek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arsen Bošnjak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Davor Sabolek, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Davor Sabolek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Višeslav Trošelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miro Pekić having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vrbanja Kupa's zone, Miljenko Hunjadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miro Pekić came out of the goal and Miljenko Hunjadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davor Sabolek in the 25th minute of play forced HrV's goalkeeper Arsen Bošnjak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miro Pekić was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Miljenko Hunjadi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. HrV's Višeslav Trošelj got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miro Pekić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Višeslav Trošelj went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 54th minute, Vilim Račan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HrV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Miljenko Hunjadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HrV's Višeslav Trošelj got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvije Vajdić kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. If Višeslav Trošelj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the game, Dubravko Vedriš was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. HrV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vrbanja Kupa the free kick. After a rather tough play, HrV's Dubravko Vedriš got a free kick in the 77th minute. Vrbanja Kupa's Časlav Ljubić shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arsen Bošnjak but with some difficulty. If Davor Sabolek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, HrV's Dubravko Vedriš got a free kick in the 80th minute. Davor Sabolek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes HrV got a freekick which was hit by Relja Mehulić. Dobriša Đurić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobriša Đurić in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arsen Bošnjak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 played minutes Vrbanja Kupa got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Golub. In the 91st minute Višeslav Trošelj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miro Pekić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. HrV fully deserved thier win.
