Spectators: 7946 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 100) ZP grey wolves's Jakša Gašpert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jakša Gašpert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Đino Vračarić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Pigac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đino Vračarić having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Silvije Brčić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in NK Zrinski's zone, Jakša Gašpert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Đino Vračarić came out of the goal and Jakša Gašpert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NK Zrinski's Đino Vračarić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Pigac in the 11th minute of play. Jakša Gašpert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Đino Vračarić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes NK Zrinski got a freekick which was hit by Silvije Brčić. Pavao Vazdar, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 19th minute Jan Pigac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đino Vračarić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domagoj Gajić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Berislav Vujičić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NK Zrinski's Đino Vračarić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vice Dmitrović in the 35th minute of play. Jan Pigac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Jakša Gašpert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Đino Vračarić was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Jan Pigac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đino Vračarić having to interfere. Jakša Gašpert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Đino Vračarić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domagoj Gajić made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Jan Pigac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes, NK Zrinski's Pravdan Delale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Berislav Vujičić came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NK Zrinski reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakša Gašpert in the 72nd minute of play forced NK Zrinski's goalkeeper Đino Vračarić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Jan Pigac notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of NK Zrinski's Đino Vračarić. Đino Vračarić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82ndth minute of the game Jakša Gašpert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Zrinski's Đino Vračarić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan Pigac might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Đino Vračarić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Pigac ran back to his position shaking his head. Jakša Gašpert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Đino Vračarić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Pigac in the 88th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Jan Pigac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Đino Vračarić. Jan Pigac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Berislav Vujičić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domagoj Gajić in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, one of ZP grey wolves:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match was over ZP grey wolves could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NK Zrinski throughout the match.
