Joško Selestrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vjenceslav Dimjašević in the 6th minute of play. The referee ignored Donji Laduč's protests and gave Franko Hemula a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Donji Laduč getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Franko Hemula hit a great ball. In the 88th match minute, Jazavica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Žužić to maneuver through the defense. Krešimir Jukić charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Krešimir Jukić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle sounded Jazavica left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Donji Laduč.
