During the 94th minute of the match Ranko Kancir completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ranko Kancir a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ranko Kancir kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the NK Rječina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC MLD.
