Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sandi Špralja made the kick off which started today's match. Rene Devčić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ibrica Čaplar, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Dionisio Mikolas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandi Špralja in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barun United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sandi Špralja was slow to take the kick. During this time Lički Osik's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sandi Špralja got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dionisio Mikolas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lički Osik's Rene Devčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibrica Čaplar in the 11th minute of play. Anđelko Nemet made in the 14th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ostoja Zgurić. After 15 played minutes Barun United got a freekick which was hit by Frane Stjepanović. With his leg Rene Devčić managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Barun United's Ivica Balaško fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lički Osik's Rene Devčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ibrica Čaplar in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Sandi Špralja made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Mikolas. Barun United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Sandi Špralja might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Mikolas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandi Špralja ran back to his position shaking his head. After 42 minutes, Mirko Ružička mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lički Osik and the Barun United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barun United booed when Lički Osik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Ružička didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Lički Osik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frano Stepanović to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Lički Osik were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Ibrica Čaplar came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Barun United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ibrica Čaplar couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandi Špralja in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dionisio Mikolas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sandi Špralja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ivica Balaško came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Barun United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivica Balaško couldn't finish the play. When Anđelko Nemet fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barun United's protests and gave Anđelko Nemet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barun United getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Anđelko Nemet hit a great ball. Stojko Zauner charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stojko Zauner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Barun United got a freekick which was hit by Stojko Zauner. Mirko Ružička was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Barun United booed when Lički Osik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirko Ružička didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Ivica Balaško cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rene Devčić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Lički Osik getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Leo Mrvelj hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Barun United's Ivica Balaško nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Devčić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 96th minute Radoslav Tukša shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Devčić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Barun United were the better team. Barun United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
