Jazavica's Pavel Samuda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandi Špralja in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Jazavica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragutin Todorić to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Jazavica's Vjenceslav Zanoletti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the game, Jazavica's Antun Batinić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Devčić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vjenceslav Zanoletti in the 58th minute of play forced Lički Osik's goalkeeper Rene Devčić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lički Osik's Rene Devčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vjenceslav Dimjašević in the 59th minute of play. Sandi Špralja did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Pavel Samuda 60 minutes into the match. Rene Devčić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vjenceslav Dimjašević, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Frano Stepanović's late challenge caught a Jazavica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frano Stepanović helped the player get up and apologised. Frano Stepanović hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute Vjenceslav Dimjašević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Devčić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Jazavica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Stojnović to maneuver through the defense. If Miran Mihovilović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Sandi Špralja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Sabolek made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dinko Mažuran immediately put the ball in play.
