An unexpectedly hard shot by Vjenceslav Zanoletti in the 26th minute of play forced NK Zrinski's goalkeeper Đino Vračarić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, NK Zrinski's goal looked a bit too open when Vjenceslav Dimjašević came free, but Đino Vračarić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Jazavica's goalkeeper Pavel Samuda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristijan Bobić. Ivica Tenjer kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vjenceslav Zanoletti in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Đino Vračarić saved NK Zrinski from getting behind.

Đino Vračarić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jazavica's Klement Žužić was substituted for Vladislav Princ.
