Spectators: 7941 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stjepan Mandarić started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Donji Čehi Drava's goal looked a bit too open when Jakša Ćuk came free, but Mile Muhar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stjepan Mandarić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Đino Vračarić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donji Čehi Drava's Držimir Paškov got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domagoj Gajić hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Stjepan Mandarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đino Vračarić having to interfere. Držimir Paškov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Đino Vračarić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Đino Vračarić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stjepan Mandarić in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Kristijan Bobić fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mile Muhar, passed just outside the right post. After 38 played minutes Donji Čehi Drava got a freekick which was hit by Stjepan Mandarić. Domagoj Gajić struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Mile Muhar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Zrinski. Đino Vračarić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stjepan Mandarić in the 46th minute of the match. NK Zrinski's Đino Vračarić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stjepan Mandarić in the 50th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mile Muhar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domagoj Gajić, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Stjepan Mandarić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Stjepan Mandarić recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Đino Vračarić. Stjepan Mandarić showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Đino Vračarić was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Držimir Paškov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Držimir Paškov really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. If Držimir Paškov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Donji Čehi Drava's Stjepan Mandarić ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Đino Vračarić. Đino Vračarić yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Držimir Paškov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janko Hinić hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Pravdan Delale shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mile Muhar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ivica Tenjer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mile Muhar having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Ivičić during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lino Ivičić kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Domagoj Gajić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Donji Čehi Drava defense, Kristijan Bobić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mile Muhar. The Donji Čehi Drava fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mile Muhar should have stopped the shot. The Donji Čehi Drava supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Donji Čehi Drava would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
