Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 20) Valter Ostojić made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gradina United's zone, Roman Sardelić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florijan Gazivoda came out of the goal and Roman Sardelić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gradina United's Tvrtko Štimac got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gradina United's goalkeeper Florijan Gazivoda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Gradina United's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Sardelić came free, but Florijan Gazivoda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Valter Ostojić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potpićan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valter Ostojić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Roman Sardelić came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Potpićan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Sardelić couldn't finish the play. If Petar Školjarev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teofil Krpina during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teofil Krpina hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes Potpićan got a freekick which was hit by Miha Špoljar. Gradina United's Želimir Šoletić couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Potpićan. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Martin Glavinić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tvrtko Štimac in the 54th minute of the match. The Gradina United fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Gradina United's Petar Školjarev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd rose to their feet as Potpićan's Valter Ostojić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florijan Gazivoda. That made the score 1-1 after 62 minutes of play. If Roman Sardelić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valter Ostojić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Florijan Gazivoda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juraj Bjelobrk fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gradina United's protests and gave Juraj Bjelobrk a yellow card for diving instead. Juraj Bjelobrk hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gradina United's goalkeeper Florijan Gazivoda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Petar Školjarev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Glavinić was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Potpićan's Roman Sardelić slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florijan Gazivoda. That made the score 2-2 after 85 minutes of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gradina United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! Rene Ogresta shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 94 minutes, Silvio Prešnjak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gradina United and the Potpićan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Gradina United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Prešnjak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Ostojić in the 100th minute of play forced Gradina United's goalkeeper Florijan Gazivoda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
