In the 4th minute, Jolan Le Bozec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee gave Gradina United a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Želimir Šoletić, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ZadarskoSrce's Luka Peroković. 0-1. Relja Mihaljević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florijan Gazivoda having to interfere. With a little luck, Gradina United's Florijan Gazivoda got control of the ball when Hrvoje Talaja tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, ZadarskoSrce's goal looked a bit too open when Tvrtko Štimac came free, but Luka Peroković reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luka Peroković came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Gradina United's Tvrtko Štimac. But to his dismay, Tvrtko Štimac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Florijan Gazivoda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jolan Le Bozec in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, ZadarskoSrce's Egon Boras seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Egon Boras the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ZadarskoSrce protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Egon Boras had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 29th minute, one of ZadarskoSrce:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ZadarskoSrce. Hrvoje Talaja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Florijan Gazivoda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Hrvoje Talaja managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZadarskoSrce's supporters rose to their feet, but Hrvoje Talaja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florijan Gazivoda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes of play, Gradina United's Tvrtko Štimac made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luka Peroković was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Tvrtko Štimac made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petar Školjarev got free with Luka Peroković in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tvrtko Štimac's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luka Peroković read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juraj Bjelobrk got free with Luka Peroković in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tvrtko Štimac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute Natko Matković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florijan Gazivoda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Natko Matković managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZadarskoSrce's supporters rose to their feet, but Natko Matković was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gradina United were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ZadarskoSrce's much stronger midfield.
