With a little luck, Gradina United's Florijan Gazivoda got control of the ball when Patrik Biškup tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florijan Gazivoda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berislav Stipić in the 12th minute of play. Silvio Prešnjak's late challenge caught a Komin Sokol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petar Školjarev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Vjekoslav Ferić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tvrtko Štimac to strike the kick off in the second half. Vjekoslav Ferić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petar Školjarev went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.
