Valter Ostojić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Matko Horvatović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Potpićan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Sardelić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Potpićan's Martin Glavinić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jure Šagarjelo in the 43rd minute of play. After 43 minutes, Teofil Krpina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potpićan and the NK MLADOST BUZIN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Teofil Krpina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Sardelić got free with Matko Horvatović in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, NK MLADOST BUZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Ostojić came free, but Matko Horvatović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matko Horvatović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Sardelić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Valter Ostojić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Roman Sardelić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Sardelić took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matko Horvatović. Matko Horvatović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After a rather tough play, Potpićan's Teofil Krpina got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Roman Sardelić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matko Horvatović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
