Mate Delale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Vjekoslav Ferić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Komin Sokol's goal looked a bit too open when Branko Mijatović came free, but Vjekoslav Ferić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC booed when Komin Sokol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grga Orlić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Branko Mijatović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vjekoslav Ferić having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Komin Sokol's zone, Njegoš Dominković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vjekoslav Ferić came out of the goal and Njegoš Dominković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Branko Mijatović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vjekoslav Ferić having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Branko Mijatović made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Njegoš Dominković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Njegoš Dominković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Njegoš Dominković left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Njegoš Dominković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Zoran Kaleb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berislav Stipić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Mate Delale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berislav Stipić in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zoran Kaleb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Berislav Mužić kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Berislav Stipić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
