In the 8thth minute of the game Eduard Grdović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Opuzen's Leopold Mazić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Vlaho Kričković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Grdović was extremely unlucky when he, in the 12th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 14 minutes into the match, Široko Polje's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Sabolić came free, but Ištvan Kresić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Široko Polje's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
