Eduard Grdović had several of the vakfikebir's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Duško Smalcelj as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Veljko Remenarić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Veljko Remenarić was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Veljko Remenarić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. vakfikebir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Široko Polje the free kick. The supporters of Široko Polje booed when vakfikebir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Veljko Remenarić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Eduard Grdović notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of vakfikebir's Duško Smalcelj. Predrag Teuber thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Duško Smalcelj, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 9-0. 87 minutes into the match, vakfikebir's goal looked a bit too open when Vlaho Kričković came free, but Duško Smalcelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duško Smalcelj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduard Grdović in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Eduard Grdović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but vakfikebir's Duško Smalcelj was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Rade Gradišar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Široko Polje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rade Gradišar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute Vlaho Kričković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duško Smalcelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
