Renato Brdarić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zvonimir Roginek's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Renato Brdarić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikša Radović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egon Adamić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Želimir Roža, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Andrej Mandaković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Egon Adamić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Želimir Roža fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egon Adamić having to interfere. Andrej Mandakovićs short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Egon Adamić to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zvonimir Roginek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Renato Brdarić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's Egon Adamić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save TSG 1899 Hoffenheim from getting a goal against them. Ostoja Mihelčić hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Egon Adamić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jerko Rončević hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Nikša Radović managed to get in a good position for a shot. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikša Radović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Brdarić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, TSG 1899 Hoffenheim's goal looked a bit too open when Florijan Supičić came free, but Egon Adamić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
