Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Damjan Baruška got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Mersin's Jadran Uljević got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Damjan Baruška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Mersin defense, Sebastijan Pajić kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivica Brdar. The Mersin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivica Brdar should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Sebastijan Pajić notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Mersin's Ivica Brdar. Ivica Brdar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastijan Pajić's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Ivica Brdar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Mihael Popivoda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastijan Pajić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mersin booed when Kobilić was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darko Markić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Frano Kocković shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Neno Bježančević showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Mersin's goal looked a bit too open when Damjan Baruška came free, but Ivica Brdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes Mersin got a freekick which was hit by Frano Kocković. Ivica Brdar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damjan Baruška, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Ivica Brdar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Damjan Baruška showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. With a little luck, Mersin's Ivica Brdar got control of the ball when Borna Gilja tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 minutes, Eduard Mesarić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kobilić and the Mersin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Mersin. Frano Kocković stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Neno Bježančević. 4-1. The Mersin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivica Brdar should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopold Trbojević was the one to do the kick off. Mersin's Ivica Brdar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Juraček in the 55th minute of play. Filip Krivačić lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 57th minute, one of Mersin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mersin. Ivica Brdar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastijan Pajić in the 66th minute of play. Ivica Brdar came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Kobilić's Damjan Baruška. But to his dismay, Damjan Baruška quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. 73 minutes into the match, Damjan Baruška notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Mersin's Ivica Brdar. Ivica Brdar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damjan Baruška in the 77th minute of play forced Mersin's goalkeeper Ivica Brdar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivica Brdar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damjan Baruška's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute Sebastijan Pajić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivica Brdar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Mihael Popivoda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivica Brdar. Mersin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihael Popivoda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. 89 minutes into the game, Krešimir Vejić threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mersin's Jadran Uljević quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 90 minutes into the match, Mersin's goal looked a bit too open when Damjan Baruška came free, but Ivica Brdar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastijan Pajić in the 92nd minute of play forced Mersin's goalkeeper Ivica Brdar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Sebastijan Pajić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivica Brdar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastijan Pajić, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. In the 99th minute, Krešimir Vejić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivica Brdar was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-1.
