In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hlapičina HNK's goalkeeper Niko Kirac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sinjac's Vedran Moćan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milan Vusak in the 16th minute of play. Ferdinand Venturin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niko Kirac having to interfere. Milan Vusak got in the 20th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vedran Moćan handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ivan Kaić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niko Kirac having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Ferdinand Venturin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hlapičina HNK's Niko Kirac tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes in the game, Ferdinand Venturin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ferdinand Venturin was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sinjac got a freekick which was hit by Želimir Matjašec. With a little luck, Hlapičina HNK's Niko Kirac got control of the ball when Nikša Kovačić tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Hlapičina HNK's goalkeeper Niko Kirac had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikša Kovačić. Nikša Kovačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vedran Moćan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milan Vusak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Milan Vusak made a precise shot to the right of Vedran Moćan. Sinjac's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ferdinand Venturin did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Niko Kirac 72 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Zdenko Taslak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vedran Moćan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Ferdinand Venturin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Niko Kirac skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 89th match minute, Hlapičina HNK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdenko Taslak to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Tvrtko Smrečki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Niko Kirac quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Sinjac booed when Hlapičina HNK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Sertić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Kaić took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Niko Kirac. Hlapičina HNK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
