Spectators: 7630 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 80) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustaw Dudzik started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Corky booed when Pula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larkin Coote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pula's Arne Sandström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Dudzik in the 12th minute of play. Krešo Knez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Pankiewicz having to interfere. Gustaw Dudzik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arne Sandström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sedat Aydınalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Belimir Vrbanić hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Eugen Crnjak kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Corky's Gustaw Dudzik got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Krešo Knez came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pula fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krešo Knez couldn't finish the play. Jakov Futač recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Krešo Knez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Borys Pankiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sedat Aydınalp kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Francesco Capone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Krešo Knez to strike the kick off in the second half. Krešimir Jelinić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Arne Sandström made a huge save. Eugen Crnjak kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Gustaw Dudzik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arne Sandström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 65 minutes into the match, Veljko Koščec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Pankiewicz. Corky's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Veljko Koščec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 77th minute Jakov Futač shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Pankiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Larkin Coote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Gustaw Dudzik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krešo Knez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Borys Pankiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Corky getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sedat Aydınalp hit a great ball. A collision led to Pula getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Viggo Hed hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pula had won after a very even match.
