An unexpectedly hard shot by Frane Čiček in the 4th minute of play forced Apriano Juniors's goalkeeper Mladen Asanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vice Vrhovski got free with Mladen Asanović in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stipanovci Željezničar were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Apriano Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vice Vrhovski took the corner. The corner led Stipanovci Željezničar's Vice Vrhovski to fire away a dangerous shot which Mladen Asanović despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ištvan Plavčić spun around in front of the goal 12 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Stipanovci Željezničar's goal. In the 21st minute, Držimir Baletić made a precise shot to the right of Fran Mađarić. Stipanovci Željezničar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frane Čiček in the 28th minute of play forced Apriano Juniors's goalkeeper Mladen Asanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Edi Sanader shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fran Mađarić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Mavrić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Mladen Asanović made a huge save. When Donat Grković came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Stipanovci Željezničar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donat Grković couldn't finish the play. After the first half Apriano Juniors were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jadran Dominković to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Leon Mavrić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Mavrić in the 55th minute of play forced Apriano Juniors's goalkeeper Mladen Asanović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donat Uremović kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Apriano Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Donat Grković came free, but Mladen Asanović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Donat Uremović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Jadran Dominković sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stipanovci Željezničar's Fran Mađarić didn't even have to move. Frane Čiček struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Mladen Asanović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stipanovci Željezničar. Jadran Dominković charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jadran Dominković the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Apriano Juniors getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Jadran Dominković hit a great ball. Mladen Asanović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vice Vrhovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Apriano Juniors's Mirko Novaković got a free kick in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Apriano Juniors left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stipanovci Željezničar.
