Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gajić Zadrugar's Matko Balog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Eduard Turčin made a precise shot to the right of Ante Smalcelj. Gajić Zadrugar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Andrej Palković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ante Smalcelj having to interfere. Gajić Zadrugar's Ante Smalcelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrej Palković in the 10th minute of play. Eduard Turčin might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ante Smalcelj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduard Turčin ran back to his position shaking his head. Ante Smalcelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrej Palković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrej Palković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrej Palković in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ante Smalcelj saved Gajić Zadrugar from getting behind. Ante Smalcelj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 0-2 became the score in the 33rd minute when Eduard Turčin elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Andrej Palković was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Povratnici's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gajić Zadrugar the free kick. In the 45th minute, Andrej Palković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Višeslav Berend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branko Azinović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Gajić Zadrugar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Povratnici were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrej Palković was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Andrej Palković had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ante Smalcelj. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ante Smalcelj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrej Palković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Gajić Zadrugar's Edo Kupareo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ante Smalcelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Turčin in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Wong Lee fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Andrej Palković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 95 minutes of play, Povratnici's Wong Lee made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ante Smalcelj was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Gajić Zadrugar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Povratnici were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
