After a rather tough play, Donja Lomnica's Jasenko Medić got a free kick in the 11th minute. Andrija Travar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branko Salihović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Donja Lomnica getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Svebor Kramberger hit a great ball. Tomica Mikičić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ljubomir Pauletić having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Ostoja Foretić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucijan Kvaternik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ljubomir Pauletić made a huge save. 39 minutes into the match, Donja Lomnica's Branko Salihović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrija Travar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ljubomir Pauletić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomica Mikičić in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Aenona ™ booed when Donja Lomnica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ostoja Foretić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Donja Lomnica's zone, Lucijan Kvaternik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ljubomir Pauletić came out of the goal and Lucijan Kvaternik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Branko Salihović made a kick off. The supporters of Donja Lomnica booed when Aenona ™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragan Dodig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Aenona ™'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Svebor Kramberger fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 66th minute, Tomica Mikičić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domagoj Dujmović's late challenge caught a Donja Lomnica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domagoj Dujmović helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Aenona ™ got a freekick which was hit by Domagoj Dujmović. A collision led to Aenona ™ getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Despot Šegović hit a great ball. Donja Lomnica's Svebor Kramberger got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Svebor Kramberger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Donja Lomnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Svebor Kramberger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrija Travar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Aenona ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Branko Salihović came free, but Andrija Travar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Donja Lomnica's Svebor Kramberger made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrija Travar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomica Mikičić might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ljubomir Pauletić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomica Mikičić ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Donja Lomnica walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
