The audience thought a goal was coming when Romeo Pugelnik got free with Rikard Tomčić in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Romeo Pugelnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes, Romeo Pugelnik made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Zaostrog's Rikard Tomčić tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th match minute, Banovci Polet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zvonko Šubat to maneuver through the defense. When Banovci Polet's Romeo Pugelnik in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zaostrog's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute Vid Jauk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borko Šterger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Banovci Polet getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Borko Vlahović hit a great ball. Leon Čorković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rikard Tomčić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Zaostrog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Bilušić to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Zaostrog's Vid Jauk got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Čorković got free with Rikard Tomčić in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th match minute, Zaostrog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslav Hajni to maneuver through the defense. Rikard Tomčić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Čorković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Pugelnik in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rikard Tomčić saved Zaostrog from getting behind. Rikard Tomčić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Pugelnik's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Romeo Pugelnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Banovci Polet fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Banovci Polet's Romeo Pugelnik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 79th minute, Leon Čorković got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Oton Baljkas fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zaostrog's protests and gave Oton Baljkas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Banovci Polet booed when Zaostrog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oton Baljkas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Pugelnik struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Rikard Tomčić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Banovci Polet. After 86 minutes of play, Banovci Polet's Leon Čorković made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rikard Tomčić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nebojša Maljković recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Čorković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Tomčić having to interfere. When Nebojša Maljković fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banovci Polet's protests and gave Nebojša Maljković a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Banovci Polet got a freekick which was hit by Nebojša Maljković. Banovci Polet's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
