Rikard Tomčić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucijan Jovanovski in the 4th minute of the match. Lucijan Jovanovski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Tomčić having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Goran Lovričević hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikard Tomčić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svebor Rubčić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Svebor Rubčić ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rikard Tomčić was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Goran Lovričević struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rikard Tomčić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smoljancicxv. If Svebor Rubčić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Arijan Šepić notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Smoljancicxv's Isak Žiha. Isak Žiha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Svebor Rubčić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Tomčić having to interfere. Lucijan Jovanovski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rikard Tomčić having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Lucijan Jovanovski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Smoljancicxv's Isak Žiha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arijan Šepić in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucijan Jovanovski in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rikard Tomčić saved Zaostrog from getting behind. Goran Lovričević kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucijan Jovanovski in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rikard Tomčić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Zaostrog getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Davor Iskra hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucijan Jovanovski was the one to do the kick off. Isak Žiha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arijan Šepić's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Lucijan Jovanovski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rikard Tomčić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rikard Tomčić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Krivačić in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zaostrog's goalkeeper Rikard Tomčić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Svebor Rubčić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Tomčić having to interfere. Lucijan Jovanovski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rikard Tomčić made a huge save. After 71 played minutes Zaostrog got a freekick which was hit by Krsto Hrnjkas. In the 73rd minute Radoslav Hajni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isak Žiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arijan Šepić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Isak Žiha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zaostrog's Radoslav Hajni suffered a sore thigh after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Goran Lovričević charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Goran Lovričević the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Goran Lovričević hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Kristijan Ilakovac kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Goran Lovričević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svebor Rubčić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Lucijan Jovanovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smoljancicxv's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucijan Jovanovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikard Tomčić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Lucijan Jovanovski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Smoljancicxv's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucijan Jovanovski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rikard Tomčić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, Dragan Roginek recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rikard Tomčić. Dragan Roginek showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2.
