Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) hajduk split's Eugen Topol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valentin Špika came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Banovci Polet's Nebojša Maljković. But to his dismay, Nebojša Maljković quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. hajduk split's Eugen Topol got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Banovci Polet booed when hajduk split was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Valentić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, hajduk split's Eugen Topol got a free kick in the 17th minute. Valentin Špika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nebojša Maljković, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. hajduk split's Valentin Špika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Pugelnik in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Leon Čorković managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banovci Polet's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Čorković was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Špika breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Romeo Pugelnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Banovci Polet's Leon Čorković sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Špika narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrik Stojnić's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Borko Šterger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 31st play minutes Romeo Pugelnik shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Valentin Špika and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Leon Čorković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Banovci Polet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Čorković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Romeo Pugelnik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Špika was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Borko Šterger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Topol's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes Banovci Polet got a freekick which was hit by Zvonko Šubat. The hajduk split players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Banovci Polet were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Pugelnik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leon Čorković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Valentin Špika tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Čorković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Čorković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Špika having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Romeo Pugelnik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Banovci Polet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Branislav Bjažić hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. A well placed Romeo Pugelnik short distance shot in the 73rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Borko Šterger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Stojnić in the 83rd minute of the match. Eugen Topol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borko Šterger having to interfere. Valentin Špika didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Pugelnik went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Banovci Polet's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
