He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rakitje reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Kanarinci's zone, Dino Šoljaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vlaho Modrah came out of the goal and Dino Šoljaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Rakitje's Dino Šoljaga got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Kanarinci getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Toni Šimić hit a great ball. The supporters of Rakitje booed when Kanarinci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vjekoslav Gojak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kanarinci's Ernest Bančić got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Rakitje supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kanarinci's performance. The match ended with a win for Kanarinci.
