When Zvonimir Senta fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smoljancicxv's protests and gave Zvonimir Senta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd match minute, Smoljancicxv was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zvonimir Senta to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svebor Rubčić got free with Šandor Butković in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Šandor Butković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucijan Jovanovski in the 9th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes Olibsd got a freekick which was hit by Filip Mrazovac. With a little luck, Olibsd's Šandor Butković got control of the ball when Lucijan Jovanovski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Šandor Butković made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Lucijan Jovanovski sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mijat Dragin during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Donat Teur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olibsd's supporters rose to their feet, but Donat Teur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isak Žiha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute Lucijan Jovanovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šandor Butković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olibsd's Šandor Butković played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucijan Jovanovski in the 28th minute of play. Smoljancicxv's Goran Lovričević suffered a sore knee after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Filip Mrazovac charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Mrazovac the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Smoljancicxv's Vladislav Ježić was substituted for Goran Lovričević. In the 32nd minute, Filip Mrazovac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Borko Mokos came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Smoljancicxv fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borko Mokos couldn't finish the play. Vedran Dvornik scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isak Žiha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Šandor Butković made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucijan Jovanovski in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when Franko Kereš made the kick off in the second half. If Franko Kereš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Olibsd booed when Smoljancicxv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksandar Šrenger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franko Kereš blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isak Žiha having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Isak Žiha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Smoljancicxv's Pavel Krivačić got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Pavel Krivačić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šandor Butković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute Vladislav Ježić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šandor Butković saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Zajec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isak Žiha having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Olibsd's Patrik Zajec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Mrazovac got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Olibsd getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Filip Mrazovac hit a great ball. The Olibsd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olibsd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
