Priidik Room fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristijan Čuljak having to interfere. The supporters of Leeds United AFC booed when NK OSIJEK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Ostoić didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Jadran Vuletić reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matko Gortan. The goal made the score 1-0. NK OSIJEK's Luka Jović got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Leeds United AFC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Leeds United AFC's Jadran Vuletić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kristijan Čuljak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Klaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NK OSIJEK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Viktor Ostoić in the 36th minute. Viktor Ostoić made a great header on NK OSIJEK's corner, it was just that Leeds United AFC's Kristijan Čuljak managed to reach the ball for a save. Kristijan Čuljak came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by NK OSIJEK's Priidik Room. But to his dismay, Priidik Room quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Kristijan Čuljak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Priidik Room in the 42nd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Leeds United AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Priidik Room came free, but Kristijan Čuljak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joško Poklepović in the 46th minute of play forced NK OSIJEK's goalkeeper Matko Gortan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Priidik Room stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, NK OSIJEK's Priidik Room got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, NK OSIJEK's goal looked a bit too open when Joško Poklepović came free, but Matko Gortan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, NK OSIJEK's Dominik Klaus made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristijan Čuljak was left in no man's land by his defense there! NK OSIJEK made a substitution. Kruno Galić replaced Andrej Nikolić. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominik Klaus got free with Kristijan Čuljak in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Matko Gortan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jadran Vuletić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jadran Vuletić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NK OSIJEK made a substitution. Leeds United AFC's Kristijan Čuljak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Jović in the 83rd minute of play. Luka Jović took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristijan Čuljak. Kristijan Čuljak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The Leeds United AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching NK OSIJEK's performance. The match ended with a win for NK OSIJEK.
