The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Borko Mekić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Pais got free with Tvrtko Ćorić in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marinko Kudumija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the match, Vođinci Muraw's goal looked a bit too open when Dobroslav Mangafić came free, but Vanja Galetović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dejan Grbović might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tvrtko Ćorić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dejan Grbović ran back to his position shaking his head. Marinko Kudumija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tvrtko Ćorić having to interfere. Savski Marof's Tvrtko Ćorić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dejan Grbović in the 21st minute of play. Dobroslav Mangafić scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vanja Galetović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vanja Galetović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobroslav Mangafić, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Vođinci Muraw's Vanja Galetović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borislav Špaleta in the 29th minute of play. Vanja Galetović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borislav Špaleta in the 30th minute of play. Antonio Pais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tvrtko Ćorić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vođinci Muraw's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nikola Tolić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Borko Mekić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tvrtko Ćorić having to make a save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antonio Pais to strike the kick off in the second half. Vanja Galetović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobroslav Mangafić, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Branislav Glavinić hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Frano Pufler fired a really elegant long shot, but Vanja Galetović threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Antonio Pais recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Marinko Kudumija hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Borislav Špaleta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vanja Galetović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vanja Galetović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borislav Špaleta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Savski Marof's zone, Antonio Pais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tvrtko Ćorić came out of the goal and Antonio Pais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vanja Galetović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Tolić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vanja Galetović was a little too slow when Borislav Špaleta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-4. Dobroslav Mangafić's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vanja Galetović firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Pais in the 85th minute of play forced Savski Marof's goalkeeper Tvrtko Ćorić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dejan Grbović came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Vođinci Muraw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dejan Grbović couldn't finish the play. Dobroslav Mangafić scored 1-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vanja Galetović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tvrtko Ćorić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borko Mekić in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Vođinci Muraw's goalkeeper Vanja Galetović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borislav Špaleta. Bojan Bujas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vanja Galetović. Vođinci Muraw's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Savski Marof's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
