The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Red Devils:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NK Ribar Rab:s goal. The goalkeeper, Clayton Zaragoza, was totally fooled by NK Ribar Rab's Batıray Orus, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Batıray Orus succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 15 minutes, Radimir Murgić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Red Devils and the NK Ribar Rab players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Red Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radimir Murgić to maneuver through the defense. Red Devils's Clayton Zaragoza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Red Devils from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Batıray Orus sped through Red Devils's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clayton Zaragoza. The supporters of NK Ribar Rab booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radimir Murgić didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Toni Bandić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Toni Bandić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Krile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Como in the 30th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Clayton Zaragoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clayton Zaragoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Como in the 35th minute of the match. Clayton Zaragoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carter Como, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Carter Como cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Clayton Zaragoza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Devils's goalkeeper Clayton Zaragoza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Krile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toni Bandić in the 60th minute. After 80 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Stjepko Staničić. 81 minutes into the game, NK Ribar Rab's Carter Como nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clayton Zaragoza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihovil Korbar in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clayton Zaragoza saved Red Devils from getting behind. After some careless play in the Red Devils defense, Mihovil Korbar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clayton Zaragoza. The Red Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clayton Zaragoza should have stopped the shot. NK Ribar Rab walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
