NK Dubrava Zagreb's Benedito Mineiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 17th minute Miodrag Rozga suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Jakab Soós charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakab Soós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maksimir's Gradimir Antonić was substituted for Miodrag Rozga. In the 19th match minute, NK Dubrava Zagreb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakab Soós to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in NK Dubrava Zagreb's zone, Danijel Petrlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Gavilanes came out of the goal and Danijel Petrlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antonio Križanec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kazimir Pendo went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 24 minutes into the game, Gradimir Antonić threw the ball into play from the sideline. NK Dubrava Zagreb's Benedito Mineiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Antonio Hrste might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mathias Gavilanes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Antonio Hrste ran back to his position shaking his head. Mathias Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danijel Petrlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Antonio Križanec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimir Pendo in the 30th minute of play. Mathias Gavilanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Hrste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in NK Dubrava Zagreb's zone, Danijel Petrlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathias Gavilanes came out of the goal and Danijel Petrlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mathias Gavilanes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Antonio Križanec was a little too slow when Antun Zahora got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-4. The throw-in from Benedito Mineiro in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Maksimir's Gradimir Antonić. The NK Dubrava Zagreb players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
