Nebojša Jerić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 10th minute of the match HNK Segesta got a corner. Crni Tigrovi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grgur Vida ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 15 minutes, Velimir Vizek made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. HNK Segesta's Mate Erdelez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nebojša Jerić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boris Rudqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With an all-out effort, HNK Segesta's Nebojša Jerić threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Grgur Vida, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velimir Vizek in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mate Erdelez saved HNK Segesta from getting behind. After 23 minutes, Velimir Vizek made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. HNK Segesta's Mate Erdelez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dino Glavota kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to HNK Segesta getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dragutin Žbulj hit a great ball. In the 31stth minute of the game Velimir Vizek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HNK Segesta's Mate Erdelez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Boris Rudqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Nebojša Jerić made a huge save. Zlatan Ciolfi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After the first half Crni Tigrovi were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Velimir Vizek made the kick off in the second half. Zlatan Ciolfi might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nebojša Jerić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zlatan Ciolfi ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Crni Tigrovi booed when HNK Segesta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Rudqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mate Erdelez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velimir Vizek in the 59th minute of the match. Crni Tigrovi's Nebojša Jerić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Rudqvist in the 65th minute of play. Crni Tigrovi's Velimir Vizek got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 69thth minute of the game Velimir Vizek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HNK Segesta's Mate Erdelez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Velimir Vizek in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mate Erdelez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Paško Kukavica almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but HNK Segesta's Mate Erdelez did a great save. After having played for 74 minutes, Velimir Vizek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crni Tigrovi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Velimir Vizek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Boris Rudqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Crni Tigrovi's goalkeeper Nebojša Jerić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Crni Tigrovi's Velimir Vizek in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HNK Segesta's goalie prevented a goal. Lazar Kotlar hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Boris Rudqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nebojša Jerić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Boris Rudqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. HNK Segesta's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Rudqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nebojša Jerić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, Pompiliu Bacalbașa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Crni Tigrovi's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
