Spectators: 10878 (Terracing: 8159, Seating: 2502, VIP seats: 217) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valentin Brcina got the match started through his kick off. Börje Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Grgur Mađar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Forsberg in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Kristijan Carlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Žminj ONK's zone, Duško Zambata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grgur Mađar came out of the goal and Duško Zambata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börje Forsberg in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grgur Mađar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 minutes Žminj ONK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Materazzi who took care of the corner kick. Marco Materazzi made a great header on Jastreb's corner, it was just that Žminj ONK's Grgur Mađar managed to reach the ball for a save. If Valentin Brcina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 41st minute Börje Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grgur Mađar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Žminj ONK's goal looked a bit too open when Luka Mata came free, but Grgur Mađar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jastreb were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Žminj ONK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marco Materazzi took the corner.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Forsberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Navarro Montoya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valentin Brcina's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Imants Blasāns made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Duško Zambata immediately put the ball in play. 57 minutes into the game, Börje Forsberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Grgur Mađar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Žminj ONK's Valter Malekin got a free kick in the 61st minute. Valter Malekin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Žminj ONK defense, Börje Forsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Grgur Mađar. The Žminj ONK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Grgur Mađar should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Duško Zambata could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Grgur Mađar however easily saved by the left post. Grgur Mađar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luka Mata in the 68th minute of the match. Jastreb made a substitution. Bo Cantona replaced Börje Forsberg. Grgur Mađar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luka Mata showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 80 minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Luka Mata recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Grgur Mađar. Luka Mata showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Žminj ONK's Grgur Mađar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Mata in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luka Mata in the 94th minute of play forced Žminj ONK's goalkeeper Grgur Mađar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Jastreb were awarded a corner. Ilko Smoje went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Jastreb's Ilko Smoje to fire away a dangerous shot which Grgur Mađar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jastreb played a much better game than Žminj ONK and deserved their victory. The Žminj ONK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
