The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Börje Forsberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Drake Didlock. NK SKRETNIČAR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Forsberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Jastreb's Börje Forsberg in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NK SKRETNIČAR's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute Luka Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drake Didlock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luka Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drake Didlock having to interfere. Jastreb's Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Molnar in the 15th minute of play. Navarro Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mato Galić, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Drake Didlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börje Forsberg in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by NK SKRETNIČAR's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marco Materazzi was slow to take the kick. During this time Jastreb's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Jastreb's Marco Materazzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Drake Didlock despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute Jastreb were awarded a corner. Marco Materazzi went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, NK SKRETNIČAR's Mato Galić got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Drake Didlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Materazzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jastreb's Bo Nesta was substituted for Marco Materazzi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Cantona in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drake Didlock saved NK SKRETNIČAR from getting behind. Drake Didlock stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luka Mata's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. NK SKRETNIČAR's Drake Didlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luka Mata in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo Cantona made a kick off. Navarro Montoya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodor Ćesić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63rd play minutes Bo Cantona shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Drake Didlock and just under the crossbar into goal. NK SKRETNIČAR's Drake Didlock proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save NK SKRETNIČAR from getting a goal against them. Navarro Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Ćesić in the 69th minute of play. Bo Cantona who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Drake Didlock when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Drake Didlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Drake Didlock came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Jastreb's Bo Ronaldo. But to his dismay, Bo Ronaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With a little luck, NK SKRETNIČAR's Drake Didlock got control of the ball when Luka Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. NK SKRETNIČAR's Drake Didlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Cantona in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo Cantona got free with Drake Didlock in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to NK SKRETNIČAR getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rade Knezović hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Jastreb's Rogelio Etxepare seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rogelio Etxepare the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jastreb protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rogelio Etxepare had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The Jastreb supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jastreb would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
