Mathias Gavilanes came out of the goal and Valentin Brcina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, Žminj ONK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Malekin to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Brcina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathias Gavilanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Žminj ONK booed when NK Dubrava Zagreb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ludo Lambert's late challenge caught a Žminj ONK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Brcina made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Valentin Brcina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Dubrava Zagreb's Mathias Gavilanes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Žminj ONK's Grgur Mađar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimir Pendo in the 53rd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Žminj ONK's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimir Pendo came free, but Grgur Mađar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Matko Drapčinski in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by NK Dubrava Zagreb's Sergey Basharin. Grgur Mađar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antun Zahora, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Matko Drapčinski made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by NK Dubrava Zagreb's Benedito Mineiro. 88 minutes into the match, Žminj ONK's goal looked a bit too open when Gordan Sedmak came free, but Grgur Mađar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, NK Dubrava Zagreb's goalkeeper Mathias Gavilanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boro Bonačić. In the 94th minute, Antun Zahora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NK Dubrava Zagreb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK Dubrava Zagreb's goalkeeper Mathias Gavilanes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Žminj ONK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valter Malekin in the 98th minute.
