Spectators: 10874 (Terracing: 8156, Seating: 2501, VIP seats: 217) Karim Benzema started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Žminj ONK's goalkeeper Grgur Mađar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Borko Blaškić. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Brcina in the 8th minute of play forced Punisher FC's goalkeeper Trifon Voutsinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilijan Bistrović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grgur Mađar having to interfere. Augustin Cerovec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Grgur Mađar made a huge save. Trifon Voutsinas came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Žminj ONK's Valentin Brcina. But to his dismay, Valentin Brcina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Valentin Brcina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, Punisher FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Brcina came free, but Trifon Voutsinas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grgur Mađar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borko Blaškić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sanjin Vlašić kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match Torvald Høvik came totally free in front of Žminj ONK's goalkeeper and smashed the ball just inside the right post. Valentin Brcina might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trifon Voutsinas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valentin Brcina ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The corner ended in Boyke Pradnyana almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Punisher FC's Trifon Voutsinas did a great save. Valentin Brcina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Trifon Voutsinas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Valentin Brcina put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Trifon Voutsinas. Valentin Brcina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trifon Voutsinas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Valentin Brcina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Valentin Brcina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trifon Voutsinas. Punisher FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Brcina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentin Brcina in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trifon Voutsinas saved Punisher FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Valentin Brcina took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Trifon Voutsinas to make any attempt to save it. Žminj ONK's Boro Bonačić was substituted for Valentin Brcina. With a little luck, Punisher FC's Trifon Voutsinas got control of the ball when Boro Bonačić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grgur Mađar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustin Cerovec in the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Boro Bonačić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trifon Voutsinas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Žminj ONK were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Punisher FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valter Malekin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Žminj ONK's corner Luisito Portillo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Trifon Voutsinas quite easily take care of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Luisito Portillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trifon Voutsinas. Punisher FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisito Portillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Chants of Žminj ONK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Punisher FC had held the ball for most of the match.
