Maksimir's Danijel Petrlin got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Maksimir got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Kukoč. 89 minutes into the match, Jastreb's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Hrste came free, but Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jastreb's Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Hrste in the 90th minute of play. Maksimir's Boleslaw Jaktorowo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Maksimir from getting a goal against them. Boleslaw Jaktorowo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luka Mata in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Jastreb left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maksimir.
