The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Žminj ONK's Valentin Brcina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Bernard Kufner was a little too slow when Valentin Brcina got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. Grgur Mađar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karlo Radonić in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Žminj ONK's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp came free, but Grgur Mađar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isak Katić's late challenge caught a NK BRONZIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isak Katić helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in NK BRONZIN's zone, Birsel Nasip stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Kufner came out of the goal and Birsel Nasip tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK BRONZIN's goalkeeper Bernard Kufner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Grgur Mađar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Valentin Brcina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Žminj ONK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Brcina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Žminj ONK's Birsel Nasip got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ahmet Gündüz Acaralp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grgur Mađar was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. NK BRONZIN's goalie Bernard Kufner was quick on his feet when Valentin Brcina aimed and made a shot towards the top left corner. The goalie picked down the ball without great difficulties. After a rather tough play, Žminj ONK's Birsel Nasip got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Anders Bäck took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernard Kufner. Bernard Kufner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Anders Bäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bernard Kufner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birsel Nasip took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernard Kufner. Bernard Kufner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Birsel Nasip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Žminj ONK made a substitution. Boro Bonačić replaced Valentin Brcina. Žminj ONK's Clementi Bustio was substituted for Birsel Nasip. Isak Katić scored 5-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernard Kufner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Žminj ONK's goal looked a bit too open when Jure Pantić came free, but Grgur Mađar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Boro Bonačić made a precise shot to the right of Bernard Kufner. NK BRONZIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jadranko Šrenger during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to NK BRONZIN getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jadranko Šrenger hit a great ball. When Jure Pantić came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the NK BRONZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jure Pantić couldn't finish the play. Natko Gajski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Grgur Mađar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boro Bonačić in the 91st minute of play forced NK BRONZIN's goalkeeper Bernard Kufner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Žminj ONK had won after a very even match.
