Emil Molnar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Jaktorowo having to interfere. NK SKRETNIČAR's Drake Didlock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Hrste in the 14th minute of play. If Teodor Ćesić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Drake Didlock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrijan Grbović, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrijan Grbović in the 19th minute of play forced NK SKRETNIČAR's goalkeeper Drake Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drake Didlock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siniša Lerotić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siniša Lerotić kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Hrste got free with Drake Didlock in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, NK SKRETNIČAR's Drake Didlock got control of the ball when Antonio Hrste tried to sneak it across the goal line. Drake Didlock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siniša Lerotić in the 39th minute of the match. Drake Didlock made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Antonio Hrste sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute, Šandor Dajčić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Antonio Hrste ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Drake Didlock was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrijan Grbović in the 60th minute of play forced NK SKRETNIČAR's goalkeeper Drake Didlock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Hrste in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Drake Didlock prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes NK SKRETNIČAR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adam Dodaj who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Maksimir's Frano Letina to fire away a dangerous shot which Drake Didlock despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 66th match minute, NK SKRETNIČAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arijan Jurišić to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Danijel Petrlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maksimir's supporters rose to their feet, but Danijel Petrlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drake Didlock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Danijel Petrlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute, Arijan Jurišić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danijel Petrlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Drake Didlock having to make a save. Maksimir's Boleslaw Jaktorowo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodor Ćesić in the 81st minute of play. Arijan Jurišić made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Silvije Stanić immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 91 minutes, Danijel Petrlin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maksimir's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danijel Petrlin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maksimir's zone, Emil Molnar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boleslaw Jaktorowo came out of the goal and Emil Molnar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, Danijel Petrlin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Drake Didlock. NK SKRETNIČAR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danijel Petrlin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Maksimir had won after a very even match.
