Domagoj Grković showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Vedran Ćesić made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Dino Glavota immediately put the ball in play. The crowd rose to their feet as Domagoj Grković kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nebojša Jerić. That made the score 3-0 in the 20 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domagoj Grković got free with Nebojša Jerić in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lipovljani's Jânio Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazar Radojčić in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Neno Gudelj put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jânio Branco. After some careless play in the Crni Tigrovi defense, Domagoj Grković kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nebojša Jerić. The Crni Tigrovi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nebojša Jerić should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute Lipovljani were awarded a corner. Tonko Urban went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Lipovljani's Lovro Majer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Crni Tigrovi's goal looked a bit too open when Tonko Urban came free, but Nebojša Jerić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tonko Urban ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lipovljani's Tonko Urban was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nebojša Jerić in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Neno Gudelj stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domagoj Grković scored 5-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nebojša Jerić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Crni Tigrovi's Velimir Vizek was substituted for Lazar Radojčić. In the 61st minute, Domagoj Grković made a precise shot to the right of Nebojša Jerić. Domagoj Grković might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nebojša Jerić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Domagoj Grković ran back to his position shaking his head. Nebojša Jerić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domagoj Grković in the 73rd minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Lipovljani's Domagoj Grković made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nebojša Jerić was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Crni Tigrovi's zone, Domagoj Grković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nebojša Jerić came out of the goal and Domagoj Grković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Lipovljani fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. Lipovljani's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
