Bacary Vandevelde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Faouzi Malki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Ludovic Lagneau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limoges's Faouzi Malki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bacary Vandevelde managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Vita's supporters rose to their feet, but Bacary Vandevelde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faouzi Malki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Faouzi Malki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Jaegle in the 51st minute of the match. Limoges's Faouzi Malki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludovic Lagneau in the 53rd minute of play. Ludovic Lagneau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anthony Courtot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ludovic Lagneau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faouzi Malki was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludovic Lagneau in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faouzi Malki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Malik Pascaud hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Paul-Émile Pare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Guine, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Tristan Primault's late challenge caught a Limoges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristan Primault helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes AS Vita got a freekick which was hit by Tristan Primault. After 69 played minutes AS Vita got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Courtot. In the 71st minute, Jean-Paul Blanchin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ludovic Lagneau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Faouzi Malki made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match Ludovic Lagneau climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-3 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Faouzi Malki. When Ludovic Lagneau came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the AS Vita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ludovic Lagneau couldn't finish the play. In the 84thth minute of the game Ludovic Lagneau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limoges's Faouzi Malki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes of play, Limoges's Adam Jacquemet made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul-Émile Pare was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded AS Vita left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Limoges.
