An unexpectedly hard shot by Benoît Sire in the 20th minute of play forced Union Sportive Modane's goalkeeper Dilan Goossens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Joey Puaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Bideau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olivier Gabrielli in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olivier Gabrielli in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoine Bideau saved Gémenos from getting behind. Théodore Lelarge hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Antoine Bideau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Gabrielli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Union Sportive Modane walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
