The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alphonse Zidane during the 5th minute. Winchester SC44's Samir Girod shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Prosper Boure but with some difficulty. If Norbert Lherbier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Winchester SC44 booed when Pouleina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erwann Mourot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Julien Gagnard notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pouleina's Prosper Boure. Prosper Boure was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pouleina's Prosper Boure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julien Gagnard in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Pouleina booed when Winchester SC44 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrice Frémiot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Winchester SC44's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Lherbier came free, but Clovis Curtil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Winchester SC44's goalkeeper Clovis Curtil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julien Gagnard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Prosper Boure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Julien Gagnard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prosper Boure was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 48th minute, Dilan Malot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Julien Gagnard made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Pouleina's goal looked a bit too open when Dilan Malot came free, but Prosper Boure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dilan Malot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Winchester SC44's attack was well implemented in the 63rd minute, but when Julien Gagnard was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Dilan Malot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julien Gagnard in the 71st minute of play forced Pouleina's goalkeeper Prosper Boure to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Antony Sturm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Landrin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Pouleina defense, Julien Gagnard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prosper Boure. The Pouleina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prosper Boure should have stopped the shot. Julien Gagnard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julien Gagnard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Prosper Boure tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Winchester SC44's Ewan Bourigault got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pouleina's zone, Julien Gagnard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prosper Boure came out of the goal and Julien Gagnard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dilan Malot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Julien Gagnard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Winchester SC44's supporters rose to their feet, but Julien Gagnard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prosper Boure breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 99th minute, Antony Sturm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dilan Malot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Winchester SC44 fully deserved thier win.
