Spectators: 7406 (Terracing: 5555, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 148) Cyrille Gury started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Asnières FC's Paulo Sierra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Théophile Pinsard. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Batiste Thibaud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Théophile Pinsard having to make a save. After some careless play in the Capital defense, Paulo Sierra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Théophile Pinsard. The Capital fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Théophile Pinsard should have stopped the shot. Cyrille Gury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Harold Verwaerde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paulo Sierra got free in front of the goal in the 14th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Théophile Pinsard was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Théophile Pinsard made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Paulo Sierra sent off a good shot on target. In a very dangerous position, a player in Capital fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Paulo Sierra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asnières FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Sierra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Théophile Pinsard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Théophile Pinsard made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Paulo Sierra sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Asnières FC's zone, Cyrille Gury stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harold Verwaerde came out of the goal and Cyrille Gury tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Capital got a freekick which was hit by Alix Chopard. In the 36th match minute, Capital was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rayan Jegat to maneuver through the defense. Batiste Thibaud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Théophile Pinsard having to interfere. Cyrille Gury's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harold Verwaerde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Sierra made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Cyrille Gury got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Asnières FC booed when Capital was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alix Chopard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute Paulo Sierra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Théophile Pinsard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Gilles Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the game Alix Taddei made a throw-in which Cyrille Gury played forward. A collision led to Capital getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Alix Chopard hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Asnières FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Dubroca to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cyrille Gury managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capital's supporters rose to their feet, but Cyrille Gury was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harold Verwaerde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Redouane Amri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyrille Gury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cyrille Gury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Sierra in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Théophile Pinsard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alix Taddei during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alix Taddei kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cyrille Gury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Verwaerde having to interfere. If Cyrille Gury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Paulo Sierra notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Capital's Théophile Pinsard. Théophile Pinsard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Asnières FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Capital for a fine match.
