Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Billy Py got the match started through his kick off. Thumeries's Jean-Baptiste Ragon got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Canteranes's Benoît Mazin got a free kick in the 6th minute. Lionel Marcq made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Baptiste Ragon in the 7th minute of play. Nolan Thomasse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Marcq having to make a save. Jean-Baptiste Ragon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lionel Marcq tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nolan Thomasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Marcq having to interfere. Gaétan Limoges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Pérignon having to interfere. The Thumeries fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Thumeries's Nolan Thomasse looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Billy Py recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaétan Limoges who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Gilles Pérignon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Billy Py kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gilles Pérignon. That made the score 1-2 in the 43 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Baptiste Ragon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaétan Limoges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilles Pérignon having to interfere. If Gaétan Limoges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bérenger Senegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lionel Marcq tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaétan Limoges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Nolan Thomasse came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Thumeries fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nolan Thomasse couldn't finish the play.
