The crowd rose to their feet as Maraval's Josselin Delarche slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Freddy Patrac. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. Émeric Leseigneur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antony Jarry, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Antony Jarry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Émeric Leseigneur was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, LFC's Honoré Lajus got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josselin Delarche in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Patrac saved LFC from getting behind. Émeric Leseigneur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antony Jarry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joey Renault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Émeric Leseigneur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maraval's Émeric Leseigneur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joey Renault in the 37th minute of play. Morgan Luccioni kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Josselin Delarche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maraval's supporters rose to their feet, but Josselin Delarche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Patrac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antony Jarry made a kick off. Léo Battaglia's late challenge caught a Maraval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Battaglia helped the player get up and apologised. Maraval were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after LFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yann Chopard took the corner. The corner ended in Yann Chopard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LFC's Freddy Patrac did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antony Jarry in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Émeric Leseigneur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 69 minutes, Josselin Delarche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maraval's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josselin Delarche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, LFC's goal looked a bit too open when Farid Stern came free, but Freddy Patrac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Farid Stern shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Patrac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Maraval players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
