An unexpectedly hard shot by Sacha Damien in the 10th minute of play forced Meylan's goalkeeper Ludovic Le Baron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Cyrille Petitjean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludovic Le Baron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, one of Meylan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sacha Damien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sacha Damien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludovic Le Baron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Petitjean in the 25th minute of the match. Cyrille Petitjean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludovic Le Baron having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Sacha Damien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the match, Cyrille Petitjean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludovic Le Baron. Meylan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cyrille Petitjean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Sacha Damien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ludovic Le Baron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyrille Petitjean, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyrille Petitjean made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyrille Petitjean in the 54th minute of play forced Meylan's goalkeeper Ludovic Le Baron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ludovic Le Baron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Petitjean in the 56th minute of the match. Cyrille Petitjean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cyrille Petitjean blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ludovic Le Baron having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Cyrille Petitjean fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ludovic Le Baron, passed just outside the right post. Cyrille Petitjean was extremely unlucky when he, in the 64th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bouvines's Sacha Damien came free and shot a quick shot against goal 68 minutes in the game, fortunately Ludovic Le Baron had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 68th minute, Paul-Henri Terrasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sacha Damien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Djamel Pénet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meylan and the Bouvines players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 played minutes Meylan got a freekick which was hit by Djamel Pénet. 73 minutes into the game, Cyrille Petitjean recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ludovic Le Baron. Cyrille Petitjean showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Ludovic Le Baron successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meylan's goalkeeper Ludovic Le Baron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cyrille Petitjean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Meylan's Ludovic Le Baron got control of the ball when Sacha Damien tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bouvines's Cyrille Petitjean in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meylan's goalie prevented a goal. Cyrille Petitjean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bouvines's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
